Pray for Bangladesh (21-27 August)

Bangladesh continues to struggle with corruption in high places, in fighting in politics and difficulty with the constant threat of natural disaster.

BMS is seeking to invest in local churches, relationships and capacity building with our partners.

Pray for:

• Thanks God for the new partnership with LAMB Hospital in northern Bangladesh and for James and Andrene Hayton serving there.
• BMS volunteers serving at LAMB this year.
• The General Secretary of the Bangladesh Baptist Church Sangha (BBCS), Ashim Baroy.
• Blessing, guidance, courage and wisdom for BBCS’ outreach among the majority community, as well as among tribal groups.
• Fiona and Les Allan’s deepening relationships at the Carey Memorial School in Dinajpur.
• Thank God for great growth from the outreach among the business community in Dhaka and for the establishment of several house groups.
• Co-operation and honesty among public servants and political parties in Bangladesh.
